Episcopal Community Services of Louisiana was created by the Diocese of Louisiana to increase ministry capacity through regional collaboration and leveraging resources to impact communities beyond the church walls. We endeavor to do this through programs that: (1) provide laity with the skills to better serve the community during emergency/disaster crises —both in short-term and long-term; (2) equip young adults to be effective leaders in our complex world through hands-on service and community building; and (3) support and strengthen parish ministries.

The mission of Episcopal Community Services of Louisiana is to build The Beloved Community throughout the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana by giving flesh to our Baptismal promises to seek and serve Christ in all persons and to respect the dignity of every human being.
