ECSLA is assisting parish-based case managers to identify and link resources to assist vulnerable individuals and families to achieve greater household self-sufficiency and sustainability. This project goes beyond emergency assistance to help people identify their goals and address barriers such as stable housing, transportation access, child care, financial management, legal services, counseling, etc. Parish-based case managers achieve this by tapping the latent resources within our churches and communities and building on partnerships.
